The Woodstock of Drag Racing was the first NHRA Super Stock event held on August 7 1965. This is a tribute to the way things used to be. "Run Whatcha Brung and Hope You Brung Enough" was the epitome of the factory drag racing wars of back in the day. The era will never be repeated. Although the horse power wars still wages today, the excitement and buzz isn't quite the same.
