1970 Ford Maverick Grabber SOHC 427 Super Stock/Pro Stock Eliminator Tribute
A tribute to one of Fords most iconic 'compact car' to battle the imports of the day as far as sales goes, also once used to dominate the NHRA pro stock drag racing field. These cars only came out with 6 cylinder engines with acception to a few low optioned 302 cui v8 models.
The 'Grabber' option was just a trim package with bright paint. The legendary 'Dyno Don' Nicholson bolted in a 427 SOHC v8 eninge in one of these and went drag racing! Winning the 1971 Pro Stock championship in the process. Attention Grabber? Yes we think so too. This is our tribute to both the car and the legend that built it.
